Chan Hiu-yin, 18, was admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin yesterday after securing a flight home from Taipei through her insurer.
She was one of six young Hong Kong women injured on Saturday when powder sprayed on partygoers at an amusement park in Taiwan exploded in a fireball, killing a Taiwanese woman and injuring more than 500 people.
Another injured Hong Kong woman, Lee Yi-lam, 18, remained stable at Queen Mary Hospital, Pok Fu Lam after suffering burns to 7 per cent of her body. She returned to the city on Monday.
At least three Hong Kong women were still receiving treatment in Taiwan.
Chan’s friend Chow Wing-shan, 25, who suffered burns to 46 per cent of her body and is receiving treatment in a Taipei hospital, is expected to undergo skin grafts as early as today.
