Warm, foggy Friday and Saturday expected for Hong Kong, but it won’t last
Maritime airstream and rising temperatures will bring high humidity, but cooler days will follow thanks to northeast monsoon

Hong Kong weather continues to zig-zag as temperatures are expected to rise to 22 degrees Celsius on Friday, only to plummet again to a low of 11 degrees by Monday.
The mean temperature for the month of February traditionally sits at a low of 15 and a high of 18.5 degrees Celsius, according to the Hong Kong Observatory.
The weather forecast for Friday has the temperature at a minimum of 18 degrees and a maximum of 22 degrees.

Due to a maritime airstream, the warmer weather is also expected to be humid and foggy, with a few patches of rain in the morning and at night. Humidity levels are expected to reach 85 to 100 per cent.
Saturday will see similar weather, with a maximum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius.
But temperatures will go down on Sunday because of an intense northeast monsoon bringing in a cold front. It will remain cold early in the week, according to the Observatory.
Monday’s lowest temperature is estimated to be 11 degrees, further dropping to a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
