With her generous smile, energetic and hospitable nature, it’s easy to forget that granny Yiu, 77, has been battling terminal bone cancer for almost a decade.
Suffering such a condition would easily bring the toughest of people down. But Yiu is content and happy that she is able to spend her final days at home with her family.
“I like to stay home as my family members can give me warmth,” said Yiu, who has been receiving palliative care at home since September.

“At home, if I say I need water, my family immediately give me water,” she said.

“I love staying at home, and would rather pass away here.”
