Hong Kong will start to relax quarantine arrangements for fully vaccinated people arriving from foreign countries starting at the end of June.
The city has been cautious with reopening its borders, with officials citing a low vaccination take-up rate as a major challenge to safeguarding the community from the coronavirus that has killed more than 3.8 million people worldwide.

Who qualifies for the shortened seven-day quarantine?

To be eligible for the shortened period, travellers need to be fully vaccinated for at least 14 days, test negative for Covid-19 at the airport and positive for antibodies.
