Free gene mutation tests offer Hong Kong lung cancer patients hope for targeted drugs that could prolong life
- Testing programme wants to recruit 1,800 late-stage patients who will be checked for gene mutations
- Doctors will be able to prescribe specific treatments to help patients instead of using chemotherapy
