Nursery school teacher to appear in Hong Kong court charged with indecently assaulting two girls
Man, 57, set to appear at Kowloon City Court on Monday
Hong Kong police on Sunday charged a 57-year-old teacher over the alleged indecent assault of two girls at a Sham Shui Po nursery school.
The man – a Canadian national and Hong Kong identity card holder – is due to appear at Kowloon City Court on Monday. He faces two counts of indecent assault.
Police said they received a report on Friday that a foreign national employed by the nursery had allegedly indecently assaulted two six-year-old girls.
After a preliminary investigation, they arrested the man in the area on the same day.
The police’s Kowloon West district Child Abuse Investigation Unit is handling the case.
