Hong Kong teenager arrested in connection with attack on 14-year-old girl in Tin Shui Wai
Teen held over incident after two other girls were arrested on Thursday
A 14-year-old girl was arrested on Sunday afternoon over her suspected involvement in an attack on another teenage girl in Tin Shui Wai.
Police said the girl had been arrested in Sha Tin on suspicion of wounding and theft. As of Sunday evening she was being held for questioning.
Two other girls have already been arrested and charged with wounding and theft in connection with the attack.
The pair, aged 12 and 15, were arrested on Thursday, after police received a report at around 1am that morning that the two girls had allegedly attacked another 14-year-old girl with a wooden chair at Tin Fai Road in Tin Shui Wai.
The victim, who had her phone and a pair of shoes taken during the incident, was brought to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment. The case will appear for mention in Tuen Mun Court on Monday.
