On Tuesday Mak was charged with eight counts of indecent assault following his arrest back in March. He has been suspended from the school.

Mak is set to appear at Kwun Tong Court next Tuesday. Hong Kong’s Wong Tai Sin district crime squad is handling the case.

The government’s Education Bureau declined to comment as legal proceedings were in progress. It only said it would keep in close contact with the school and provide assistance.
