Hong Kong police are investigating a murder-suicide involving a couple found dead in their home in an Aberdeen public estate.
The man, 64, was found hanged in a flat in Wah Sang House in Wah Fu Estate by their daughter at about 10pm on Wednesday.
His wife, 63, was found wounded and unconscious on the floor and later confirmed dead at the scene. A crowbar suspected to be linked to her injuries was found at the site.
The case has been classified as a murder-suicide.
Neighbours said the couple’s son had moved out, while the woman and their daughter had moved to a flat in Sheung Wan after being kicked out by the man.
The daughter had planned to have a meal with her mother but was unable to find her before she reached the flat and discovered the bodies.
The son later arrived at the scene and assisted police in the investigation.
