Hong Kong’s Law Society stalls on its controversial qualifying exam, but remains committed to the plan
- The Law Society Examination was due to be rolled out possibly in 2019, and was planned as an alternative to oversubscribed postgraduate law courses
- Other legal institutions in the city have been unhappy with the move, citing concerns about the quality of teaching and saying they were not consulted
