- Police are treating the case as criminal damage
The front tyres of 10 green minibuses were slashed in a reported case of criminal damage in Hong Kong in the early hours of Monday, prompting anti-triad officers to launch a criminal investigation.
Police were called to Lai Kong Street minibus terminal outside Highland Park in Kwai Chung at 5.45am when a driver discovered the vandalism after arriving for work.
The incident led to the disruption of services on three minibus routes, 46M, 90M and 92M, running from the terminal to Lai King and Mei Foo MTR stations.

Mechanics were then called in to change the tyres before service resumed as normal at about 8am.
Officers were investigating whether the vandalism was linked to any dispute the drivers of the vehicles might have had and they were also checking surveillance camera footage.
Police are treating the case as criminal damage. So far, no one has been arrested. The anti-triad squad of Kwai Tsing police district is investigating.
