A man was injured after a metal shack built on a Hong Kong rooftop caught fire on Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out in the structure on top of a two-storey building in Ngau Chi Wan Village in Choi Hung at 1.32pm. Black smoke and fire was seen engulfing the shack.

A Fire Services Department spokesman said firefighters arrived in two minutes and put the blaze out at 2.30pm.
