The 30-year-old man hit speeds of 130km/h in a 70km/h zone in his Audi on Tuen Mun Road on Monday night, according to police.

Officers finally caught up with the driver at a bus interchange in Siu Lam and arrested him for dangerous driving.

He was released on bail, and must report back to police next month.

“Illegal car racing, dangerous driving and speeding are serious offences that carry a maximum penalty of three years in jail,” police said in a statement.
