Two arrested in Hong Kong after man, 40, found dead in hotel room in Central
- American, 38, arrested on premises while local man, 44, detained later in Aberdeen

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a manslaughter case after a man, 40, was found dead in a hotel room near Hong Kong’s central business district.
Paramedics were called to the Hotel Madera Hollywood on Hollywood Road in Central after police received a report at 1.27am on Saturday from staff about an unconscious guest.
The man, a local, was found lying in the bathroom with no superficial injuries. He was certified dead at the scene by paramedics.
A small quantity of suspected drugs was seized.
Police arrested a 38-year-old man on the premises. A source said the suspect was an American with a Hong Kong identity card.
Another suspect, a 44-year-old local man, was later arrested in Aberdeen. The pair are being detained for inquiries.
