Hong Kong police are hunting a gang of robbers who smashed glass display counters at a Tsim Sha Tsui watch store with a hammer and fled with a haul estimated to be worth HK$3.8 million (US$486,000).
A police spokeswoman said five robbers carrying a knife and two hammers arrived at the shop on Thursday afternoon and broke the glass of the display counters.
A video posted online showed at least three of the five rushing into the shop and a customer opening the glass door to leave, but then backing up inside.

One of the three is seen swinging at the glass of a display counter with a hammer more than 15 times as another raider, wearing a white hoodie, guards the entrance and hold the door open.
Police said the raiders snatched the watches, fled the shop and escaped in a getaway car.
Police were called to the Mody Road store just before 2.30pm after receiving multiple calls.
Officers recovered the car, abandoned near the junction of Hung Lai Road and Hung Lok Road in Hung Hom, about 2km (1.24 miles) from the crime scene, about an hour later.
