- Police raid in Tsim Sha Tsui also snares 20-year-old woman suspected of operating seven-room brothel
- Source familiar with case says preliminary investigation suggests medical student was working as part-time prostitute to make extra money

A Hong Kong medical student and two 16-year-old girls were among six sex workers discovered by police during a raid on a brothel in a popular entertainment district, the Post learned on Friday.
Officers also arrested a 20-year-old woman accused of operating a seven-room brothel on Tsim Sha Tsui’s Kimberley Road during the police raid on Thursday evening.
A source familiar with the case said a preliminary investigation suggested the student, who is in her 20s, had worked as a part-time prostitute for several months to make extra money.
Detectives from the Kowloon West regional crime unit launched an investigation into the brothel after receiving a tip-off.
According to the source, the sex workers’ services were advertised on a Telegram chat group that also featured photos of them.
