Hong Kong home of sister-in-law of wanted activist Nathan Law targeted in second police raid on family members in space of weeks
- National security police detain Law’s sister-in-law for questioning after home raided on Saturday afternoon
- Raid came a day after woman detained on suspicion of links to Law and people connected with now-disbanded opposition group Demosisto

The woman, the wife of Law’s elder brother, was taken away by National Security Department officers after a raid on her flat in Tung Chung on Lantau Island on Saturday morning.
“She is suspected of assisting persons wanted by police to continue to commit acts and engage in activities that endanger national security,” a source familiar with the case said.
“An investigation is under way and further operations, including arrests, may be made.”
“In conducting any operation, police will act on the basis of actual circumstances and according to the law,” the source added.

The operation came a day after a woman was detained on suspicion of links to the wanted activist, now in Britain, and of connections to people involved in the now-disbanded opposition group Demosisto.
