The fiancée of former TVB actor and singer Lee Lung-kei has been denied bail after she was charged with six counts related to accusations of overstaying in Hong Kong and forging university certificates to obtain an entry permit.
Wang Qingxia, 36, appeared in Sha Tin Court on Tuesday, where she faced two counts of breaching her conditions of stay, one count each of possessing and using a false instrument, one count of making false statements to obtain her entry permit and one count of making a false declaration to officers.
A charge sheet available for press inspection showed that Wang, a Chinese national, was accused of falsely claiming on her entry permit application filed on October 23, 2019, that she had a master’s degree in engineering from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
She allegedly also submitted three false copies of a graduation certificate with the name “Wang Qing Xia” from Pacific States Aviation, an aviation academy based in San Francisco, on the same day.

Wang holds a Chinese permit for travel to and from Hong Kong, according to court documents.
