Hong Kong police are searching for at least two men after a knife attack on a suspected triad member in the early hours of Monday.
A 51-year-old man, a suspected 14K triad member, was injured after he left his car in a Wong Tai Sin car park, a source familiar with the case said.
The insider added that officers were investigating whether a dispute between a Wo Shing Wo triad gang and its rival 14K group on Minden Row in Tsim Sha Tsui last month sparked the attack.
“Two knifemen suddenly turned up and slashed the victim in the head, forearms and back before fleeing in an Audi car,” the source added.
The injured man was rushed to United Christian Hospital in Kwun Tong for treatment.
Officers carried out a search of the area, but no arrests were made.
The victim was targeted when he left his vehicle at a car park outside King Kung House at Choi Wan (II) Estate in the Choi Hung area of Wong Tai Sin just before 1am.
