Two drivers have been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death after an elderly woman was struck by a truck and then a delivery van in Hong Kong.

The 73-year-old woman was hit outside the iclub Mong Kok Hotel on Anchor Street in Tai Kok Tsui at around 10.05am on Wednesday.

The force said the delivery van driver, 45, called police and told them his vehicle had hit the woman, who became trapped underneath. First responders eventually freed the victim, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
