Body found in waters off Hong Kong’s Tseung Kwan O

Hong Kong police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the waters near Tai Au Mun Road in Tseung Kwan O on Saturday.

The Chinese man was confirmed dead at the scene, police said. His age was believed to be between 35 and 45 years old, and his height 1.75 metres (5 feet, 9 inches).

No identification documents were found on the body.

A pedestrian called police at 8.05am on Saturday to report the discovery and firefighters were called to retrieve the body from about 30 metres offshore.
