A mainland Chinese woman admitted having sex in public on a Hong Kong street two months ago in a dramatic U-turn after both she and the man co-accused with her pleaded not guilty in the same court earlier this morning.
Student Wu Xinyi, 18, pleaded guilty to one count of committing an act outraging public decency, in that she had sex with a man outside the student residential hall of Polytechnic University on Fat Kwong Street in Hung Hom on April 1.
Earlier this morning, she denied the charge with her 19-year-old co-defendant, Yang Hao, also a student from mainland China. But she returned to Kowloon City Court to change her plea less than two hours later.
The court heard that in the early hours of April 1, Wu and a man who removed her pants were spotted by a security guard having sex at a bus stop near the student residential hall.
Three minutes into intercourse, the security guard yelled at them, but to no avail.
