Hong Kong heist hot spots: 72 hours, 7 burglaries, HK$4,000,000 stolen
Police study security footage for possible link following raids on luxury home and flat

Police were poring over security camera footage yesterday to check for possible links between two burglaries on the same Sha Tin street in less than 24 hours over the weekend.
An apartment and a luxury house in Keng Hau Road were targeted and HK$430,000 in cash and valuables stolen. The latter case came to light when a woman, 49, returned to her two-storey home in Keng Hau Road at about 8pm on Sunday.
"The bedroom window was prised open and there was sign of ransacking inside the bedroom," a police spokesman said.
He said an initial investigation showed HK$300,000 in jewellery and foreign currency was stolen.
Land Registry records show the house was bought by Top Oriental Holdings for HK$37 million in 2008. Its sole director is Denny Cheung Man-chung, according to the Companies Registry.
On Saturday night a 41-year-old man returned home to his Keng Hau Road flat to find it ransacked and three watches worth HK$130,000 stolen.
Detectives from Sha Tin police district are investigating.
