Hong Kong man accused of attacking five women on a single day denied bail
Judge adjourns case for one month as investigation involves fingerprint and DNA analysis of allegedly used objects

An unemployed man accused of attacking five women in Sham Shui Po on a single day earlier this month was denied bail by the Kowloon City Court on Monday.
Tso Ming-chi, 41, was charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two of common assault and one of wounding. The charges stemmed from attacks on five women that took place on February 19 in Sham Shui Po.
The attacks spanned four estates in the district, from Fu Cheong Estate to Yee Kok Court, to Wing Cheong Estate and Nam Cheong Estate.

The five victims were identified in court as Lee Ting-ting, Leung Yee-ting, Kok Leung, Wu Shuqin and Lee Yi-hin.
The prosecution requested a four-week adjournment for further police investigations, which included fingerprint and DNA analysis of an electric plug and an empty bottle that were allegedly used in the attacks.
No bail application was made after the prosecution voiced its objection to freeing the defendant.
Tso, who was picked up by police in Yau Ma Tei last Thursday, had no fixed place of abode in Hong Kong, according to court documents.
His case was adjourned by principal magistrate Peter Law Tak-chuen to March 29 for mention at the same court.
