Hong Kong court denies bail for suspected child molester who distributed leaflets and is being investigated for three incidents
In the present case, Law Wai-chuen was alleged to have offered a 10-year-old girl HK$100 to touch her thigh

A leaflet distributor was denied bail on Friday after a magistrate heard that he may have molested three children in two days this week.
Law Wai-chuen, 27, made his first appearance at Eastern Court to face one count of indecent conduct towards a child under the age of 16 years.
It was alleged that the Wan Chai resident offered to pay a 10-year-old girl HK$100 to touch her thigh at a stairwell in Wan Chai’s Sau Wa Fong on Monday.

Subsequent investigations found he may also be linked to a separate case on Tuesday, in which two boys, aged 6 and 7, called police after a man followed them into a male toilet at a tutorial centre in Hong Kong Island.
Prosecutor Brian Lai revealed that the six-year-old was offered money to perform an indecent act, while the seven-year-old performed oral sex for the man.

Police had yet to lay charges over the conduct on Tuesday. But Lai said the defendant had already been identified by the seven-year-old in an identification parade.
Law sought to apply for bail in the amount of HK$5,000 bail, but that was turned down by magistrate Abu Bakar bin Wahab.
