The 48-year-old man, surnamed Cheung, was taken to hospital after police detained him at around 1:20pm.

Chief inspector Nancy Lo Shui-lin, from the Central Police Station, said the man was at the High Court to appeal against a decision relating to his legal aid application.

“He became emotional before the ruling,” Lo said.
