Man dies after falling from Hong Kong flat while cleaning windows

A 67-year-old man fell to his death from his Hong Kong apartment on Tuesday while cleaning windows.

The man fell out of a window from his flat on the eleventh floor of Lily Mansions at Whampoa Garden on Tak Fung Street in Hung Hom.

Paramedics and police were called in at about 1.30pm after the man was found lying on a flower bed outside the building.

He was taken unconscious to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei, where he was certified dead.

“It is believed the man fell from his flat while cleaning windows,” a police spokesman said.
