Secretary for Food and Health Dr Ko Wing-man  says he won’t shy away from public interactions in his effort to promote the government’s political reform package, after he got into a shouting match on Saturday with an elderly man during a visit to a public housing estate.

While he acknowledged he should learn and improve from the experience, he explained his intention was to talk to the man who shouted at him.

“I do not feel regret about going up and talking to him. I would still do the same in the future if I had the chance, “ Ko said in an OurTV.hk video interview conducted by lawmaker and Democratic Party chairwoman Emily Lau Wai-hing on Thursday.
