13 Legco assistants of Yau Wai-ching and Baggio Leung banned from Legco complex
Decision follows scuffles last week in which six security guards were injured when localist pair tried to force their way into meeting

The personal assistants of the two localist lawmakers set to be disqualified following the oath-taking saga have been banned from entering the Legislative Council complex with immediate effect in the wake of violent clashes last week.
Yau said on Tuesday they did not have any plan at this stage to enter the Legco chamber during this Wednesday’s meeting.
“The Legco Commission strongly condemns the action of the two lawmakers and their assistants,” Andrew Leung said on Tuesday, adding that the pair’s 13 assistants would be banned from entering the Admiralty complex and have their passes invalidated with immediate effect.
