Coronavirus: Hong Kong government departments can directly purchase masks worth up to HK$10 million without tendering
- Cabinet of Chief Executive Carrie Lam decided last Tuesday that tendering could be skipped if the supplies did not exceed stipulated amount
- Civil servants can also be reimbursed for buying masks as long as purchase is ‘reasonable’, approved, and does not exceed HK$5,000
