Social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp went down on Sunday night.
According to downdetector.com, which tracks issues with internet platforms, reports about Facebook being down started to emerge at 6.28pm Hong Kong time on Sunday, while Instagram started to have issues at 6.33pm, and WhatsApp at 6.58pm.
Reports of problems have been recorded around the world. In Hong Kong, users have also been complaining about outage at the three platforms.
The Post has contacted Facebook, which owns the three platforms, for comment.
