A 65-year-old woman fell to her death when she slipped while trying to pick lychees from a tree in Hong Kong on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Sha Kong Tsuen on Deep Bay Road in Sha Tau Kok soon after 11am, after a friend of the woman found her unconscious beside the tree on land she rented for farming, according to police.
The victim was taken unconscious to Tin Shui Wai Hospital, where she later died.

A police spokesman said an initial investigation suggested the woman lost her balance and fell while trying to pick the lychees.
An initial investigation found no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, according to the force. An autopsy will be carried out to ascertain the cause of death.
