A farewell to a ‘pop diva of a generation’: fans buy bus stop ads as tribute to late Hong Kong singer Coco Lee
- ‘Coco broke barriers on the international stage so many more could have that door opened for them,’ late singer’s sister Nancy Lee says
- Separately, Lee’s estranged husband Bruce Rockowitz says comments about his marriage are ‘malicious speculation and rumours’

Fans of late Hong Kong pop diva Coco Lee have bought advertisements featuring the star at bus stops across the city for a week to bid farewell to their beloved idol and honour her achievements in the music industry.
Separately, Lee’s estranged husband Bruce Rockowitz said comments about his marriage to the singer and his financial status were “malicious speculation and rumours” and that he would not participate in the distribution of her assets.
Nancy Lee, the star’s older sister, told the Post on Saturday that she was grateful for the fans behind the posters, which began being displayed on electronic screens at 24 bus stops a day earlier as a farewell gift for the singer.
“[I’m] very thankful to these fans, knowing she’s loved by so many and they did it all voluntarily too,” she said.

“One important message I took away from their advertisement was that Coco broke barriers on the international stage so many more could have that door opened for them,” she added.
