A five-month-old girl died after losing consciousness at a border checkpoint in Hong Kong on Monday night.
Police said a staff member at the Lo Wu control point in Ta Kwu Ling reported at 7.06pm the baby had passed out in the arrival hall.
Officers arrived at the scene and sent the baby to North District Hospital in Sheung Shui.

She was later certified dead, the force said, with the cause of death pending confirmation after an autopsy.
