Hong Kong police find body of missing teenager in Lion Rock Country Park

Hong Kong police and rescue personnel have found the body of a teenager who went missing for a week in Lion Rock Country Park.
The force said Daisy Kwok Oi-kwan, 18, who went missing on July 14, was found dead at the park on Wednesday.
Her body was found by Civil Aid Service staff at around 12.30pm near the peak of Lion Rock, according to the Fire Services Department.
Authorities mobilised 24 fire engines and ambulances, as well as 83 rescue personnel, including officers from the mountain search and rescue team. A rescue dog was also part of the search effort.
Kwok was last seen in a shopping centre on Junction Road in Lok Fu, two days before the results of the city’s university entrance exams were released.
The Post earlier learned that she was supposed to sit for the Diploma of Secondary Education exams this year, but did not do so as she had experienced emotional difficulties and was taking a break from school.
