HK$100 million Mark Six jackpot split between 1.5 winning units in Hong Kong
Turnover for New Year Snowball hits more than HK$248 million, Jockey Club says

A Mark Six jackpot of HK$100 million (US$12.8 million) was split between 1.5 winning tickets on Saturday, with the Hong Kong lottery drawing more than HK$248 million in turnover.
According to the Hong Kong Jockey Club, 1.5 winning units shared the jackpot, with one full unit taking home around HK$68 million in winnings. Fourteen tickets won the second prize, bringing each one HK$645,510.
The numbers drawn were 2, 10, 13, 16, 20 and 21. The extra number was 14.
The turnover for the New Year Snowball reached HK$248.5 million, the Jockey Club said.
Earlier in the day, more than 100 residents were seen queuing outside a “lucky” Jockey Club outlet on Stanley Street, widely known for selling first-prize-winning Mark Six tickets.
“I have won HK$640 from this branch before, so I have some confidence that I will win something,” said Kelly Ng, 34, who bought four lottery tickets with her 65-year-old mother, surnamed Yu.
Asked if they had any winning strategies, Yu said they only bought numbers that were randomly generated.
