A 72-year-old taxi driver has been injured after his vehicle veered onto a pavement and flipped on its side in Hong Kong’s Cheung Sha Wan.

At least four passers-by were seen rushing to help the stranded elderly driver following the crash on Wing Hong Street at around 8am on Saturday.

According to police, the taxi struck a fence along the pavement and tipped over onto its left side after the driver lost control. The vehicle’s windscreen was also damaged.
