A cat in Thailand was “arrested” and had a mugshot taken after repeatedly attacking police officers following its rescue and subsequent arrival at a police station, amusing countless netizens across the internet.

On May 9, a Bangkok police officer known online as Da Parinda Pakeesuk shared the tale of an unusual “offender” - a lost American Shorthair cat brought in by a citizen.

Officer Pakeesuk warmly welcomed the feline into the station and took care of it.

Clad in a cute pink harness, the spirited little cat scratched and bit several on-duty officers, revealing her feisty personality.

“This cat has been charged with assaulting police officers and is about to be detained. Please share this post so her owner can come and bail her out,” Pakeesuk wrote in a lighthearted post.
