Malaysian influencer criticised for claiming men who do housework are ‘gay’ and ‘losers’
He says family men are merely ‘intimidated by their wives’, and that a truly respectful wife would not let husband handle domestic chores

A Malaysian influencer has ignited a firestorm of online outrage and faced widespread condemnation after boldly declaring that men who perform household chores are “gay,” “stupid,” and “losers.”
These remarks sparked an immediate and furious backlash from netizens, reigniting heated debates about gender roles and masculinity.
The influencer, known online as dma_islam, boasts nearly 32,000 followers on Instagram and is no stranger to controversy. He proudly branded himself a misogynist and boldly declared on his profile: “Turning misogynistic energy into an endless pursuit of excellence.”
His latest outburst began on August 26, when he posted a photo on Threads accompanied by the incendiary caption: “Change children’s pampers = GAY.”

He followed up with inflammatory comments, asserting: “Men who do housework are weak. Bro, you’re a man. You’re supposed to be the leader of the house. Why are you doing chores? Have you ever seen a king clean his own palace?”
He compared men who sweep floors to kings distracted from “important national affairs” and insisted that a husband’s true role is: “To make money, to conquer the world, to be the best, the strongest, the most respected man – not clean up your kids’ poop.”
