A Belgian man helped a Chinese woman find delicious chocolates she remembered from a childhood trip, and their heartwarming RedNote bond has touched many netizens.

The social media platform TikTok resumed its service in the US hours after a suspension that blocked access to millions of users across the country.

However, another Chinese platform, RedNote, continues to rise in popularity overseas.

RedNote, is also known as Xiaohongshu, in Chinese.

Chinese and foreign netizens have been sharing their lives and hobbies on the platform.

On January 15, a Belgian user named ComradeBXL posted on RedNote, greeting Chinese users and sharing his discovery of the country’s internet culture.
