China tutor dies at work after struggling under burden of managing 400 students, overtime

A young teacher in central China has died in his office after becoming overwhelmed by the stress of managing 400 students and working excessive overtime.
The man, surnamed Li, in his late 20s, had worked for five years at a tutoring and education company in Wuhan.
The firm, which was founded in 2012, runs an online platform offering English and mathematics courses to primary and secondary school students. It has more than 160 million users, according to online sources.
After graduating from college, Li joined as an online tutor.
Mainland media reported that he had recently worked several days of overtime to finish his tasks before a long holiday.
On April 22, Li went to the office and worked late into the night.
