American's bedroom swallowed by sinkhole BRANDON, US - A Florida man screamed for help and disappeared as a large sinkhole opened under the bedroom of a house. The man had not yet been found. His brother told rescue crews that there was a loud crash near midnight, then he heard his brother screaming. "When he got there, there was no bedroom left," fire service spokeswoman Jessica Damico said. The brother called police and frantically tried to help. An arriving deputy had to pull the brother from the hole and the collapsing house.
