‘Despicable and vindictive’: Human Rights Watch boss lashes Denmark for passing law that allows refugees’ valuables to be confiscated

Denmark’s parliament on Tuesday adopted reforms aimed at dissuading refugees from seeking asylum by delaying family reunifications and allowing authorities to seize possessions.
