Several thousand people have protested in Hamburg against the coronavirus measures in place in Germany. According to the police, they marched in several blocks through the city centre on Saturday.

“No to compulsory vaccination!” was written on many self-made placards.

There is currently discussion in Germany about introducing vaccination mandates for certain groups.

The organisers repeatedly called on the participants to remain peaceful and to put on masks.
