From cars to dolls, Spain says game over to gender bias for toys
- Ads can no longer say a toy is for a particular gender, or designate pink for girls and blue for boys, which is deemed to reinforce outdated gender roles
- Government of PM Pedro Sanchez has also pushed through several schemes to tackle gender-based violence as well as advancing equality and women’s rights
