Britain’s groundbreaking satellite launch ends in failure

  • Rocket launched by a Virgin Orbit 747 aircraft failed to deploy its nine satellites as planned on Monday
  • If it was successful, the mission would have added Britain to the ranks of countries able to launch satellites
