Watch: Orlando victim’s final video captures gunfire erupting inside massacre nightclub

Amanda Alvear’s last Snapchat video post begins with a scene of her on the dance floor of an Orlando nightclub surrounded by friends. It ends with rapid gunshots ringing out over the music.
Terror etched on her face, she says one word as she glances around: “Shooting”.
Alvear, 25, was identified by police on Monday as one of 49 people killed by a gunman at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, in the worst mass shooting in modern US history. Alvear’s friend Mercedez Flores, who worked for Target, also was on the list. The Orlando Police Department has so far named 48 of the victims.
Alvear’s sister, Ashley Velez posted a social media photo of the pair, writing, “two beautiful souls have been taken way too soon. My sister Amanda is on the right and her best friend Mercedez Flores. You girls will be missed.”
Flores, 26, went to Pulse nightclub almost every weekend, often with Alvear, Flores’ sister-in-law said Monday.
“She was very outgoing,” Nancy Flores said of Mercedez Flores. “She had lots of friends. They used to always meet up at Pulse.”
