Spark runs out: Tesla tycoon Elon Musk and actress Amber Heard break up

Amber Heard and boyfriend Elon Musk have broken up after a whirlwind courtship.

The 31-year-old actress’ split with the billionaire Tesla tycoon, 46, first reported by Us Weekly, comes a little more than three months after the couple publicised their status in an Instagram post in April.

Representatives for Heard and Musk have not returned requests for comment.

The actress took to Instagram Tuesday to share a message about the break-up.

“Being in the public eye means having to explain yourself to so many people, so much of the time. In this case, I’d like to remain more quiet,” Heard wrote in the caption.

She added there are no hard feelings, and the two remain close.
