An animal hospital in Montana was greeted with an astonishing sight: a cat frozen in snow. Fortunately, this story had the purr-fect ending.

The Animal Clinic of Kalispell shared the “amazing” survival story of Fluffy, a cat found frozen in the snow outside her owners’ home on January 31, in a Facebook post..

“You could tell it was a cat when she came in, but really she was just so packed in ice and snow, you couldn’t really tell she was alive until you looked at her and started listening to her and realised that she’s still alive,” said Dr Jevon Clark, a veterinarian at the animal clinic.

When Fluffy arrived, she was unresponsive with a temperature under 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32.2 Celsius), which was less than the hospital’s thermometers could read, said Clark.
