Three law enforcement officers in Donald Trump’s motorcade were injured in a crash on Tuesday while accompanying the US president to an energy infrastructure event in Louisiana.
“Today, three motorcycle officers from local law enforcement were injured in an accident while travelling with the president’s motorcade,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.
“All three are being treated for injuries at a nearby hospital and are in stable condition.”
A reporter following the president's motorcade tweeted she saw “three officers down on Interstate 10 near Lake Charles as Trump motorcade headed to Hackberry.”
